In 2016, FC Noble Hurricanes took another step forward by introducing a senior women’s team, which made an immediate impact, finding success right away. This expansion reflected the club’s commitment to fostering talent across both men’s and women’s football, solidifying its reputation in the local sporting hub. The continued success and development of local players did not go unnoticed and in 2019, FC Noble Hurricanes aligned themselves with Club Noble and became an affiliate club with one of the most recognised community organisations in the area.
Fast forward to 2023 and the female program went from strength to strength as the women achieved the unthinkable and earnt promotion into the VPL. The female program was booming and with the success of the Matildas the club was able to field 3 senior women’s teams along with the 4 junior girls teams across various ages.
FC Noble Hurricanes was established in 2006, starting with a single junior team to offer children from low-socioeconomic backgrounds a chance to engage in a community-backed football program. The club quickly became a cornerstone for young players, nurturing a passion for the game. By 2008, they had formed their first all-girls team, competing in the U15 category.
In 2009, the club expanded to include a senior and reserve program, providing older players an opportunity to compete at a higher level. This decision was pivotal, leading to a standout moment in 2011 when the Hurricanes secured their first senior and reserve championships. This success not only strengthened the club’s reputation but also inspired younger players, paving the way for juniors to progress into the senior ranks.
By 2015, FC Noble Hurricanes had grown to field four senior men’s teams, all enjoying significant success. The highlight of this period came with the senior men’s team earning promotion to State 4, a milestone that elevated the club’s standing.
Over the years, FC Noble Hurricanes has maintained a strong commitment to community engagement and youth development, continuing to nurture local talent while striving for further accomplishments in the sport. Various junior championships, state championships and various junior accolades have demonstrated a successful and viable program for all junior players starting from u7’s up to u16’s. The pathway is clear with juniors regularly getting promoted into both the male and female senior programs. The men currently compete in Football Victoria’s State 4 South competition and the women will be competing at a State 1 level with both seniors and reserves whilst the 3rd senior women’s team will face in off in State 4 after earning promotion in 2024. Year 2025 is shaping up to be a big year as the club expands its teams to provide quality programs for all children in the local community.
